I made this quick cd album with some of my favorite pictures of the boys for my MIL. It was very easy to make.

First I measured my cd's and in Photoshop I created a cirlce that would fit those measurements.

Next I created my layouts for each cd. Print those out and attach to the cd. I used glue dots for mine since that's what I had on hand.

After all the layouts were attached I then took a drill and drilled a hole in the corner through all of the cd's.

Attach with ribbon and you've got a mini album.

You will notice on mine I've only got pictures on 1 side. I plan on handwriting some journaling on the blank side before I send it off.

You are amazing! I think this is wonderful. It would probably ship great, too for those who wanted to send something like this through the mail.

Please excuse my ignorance (I have not paper scrapped) but are glue dots things you can buy or do you just squeeze on dots of glue from a tube of glue? I do hope you aren't fainting at my stupidity but I am thinking if there is a real thing called glue dots it might be better because paper glued on can have little lumpy wavy bits unless you use a brayer or something like that which I don't think I would be keen to do on a photo print. Or maybe you are just going to suggest that I become a better gluer!

until I paper scrapped I had no clue what they were either. But glue dots are actually an adhesive. They are a flat round clear super sticky dot. You can just attach them to the cd then put your paper over it. But be careful..once you set down the paper it's pretty much stuck.

That is such a clever idea! Was it hard to drill the holes? (I'm picturing my CD's cracking and splintering all over the place!)

Actually it wasn't hard at all. I just stacked them on top of each other and drilled straight through. I was worried about the paper getting tore up..but it turned out fine.

I think that I need a little more guidance creating the circle part - have been wanting to do something like this for awhile....

First I measured the CD..it was about 4.75" wide/high. So I opened a new document in PSE that was 4.80 wide/high. I then filled the new document with a circle..which turns into a template for your circle layout. Another thing I do before creating my layout and printing..is print a test of your template. Then you can see if you need to make your cirlce any smaller or larger.

This is the second one of these albums i've made, another thing i've done before is let the paper hang over the cd just a bit. After everything was attached I took a piece of sandpaper and sanded the extra paper away from around the edges. This took away the worry of having to be perfect with your cuts.

I made one of the album CDs a few months ago to send to my mil. I know I took a picture of it before I sent it. I must find the disc the pic is on and then post it in my gallery. They are great fun to make.
