This week's challenge is going to be a little easier than last week. Thanks for sticking with me! We will be focusing on women! Sometimes women don't get as much attention as men in genealogical research and family history stories so it is our job to remember them! Pictures should be from the 1970's and before. And for the this challenge, I would like to focus on women and not girls. I think women above the age of about 14 would be appropriate. If you don't have any pictures, I have posted one for you. CLICK HERE (http://www.robynengland.com/images/sa/charlotte-daughters.jpg) to download the high resolution version. A small version is below. Don't feel that you have to use this picture. It's just for those of you that tell me you have no pictures. Have fun and be sure to post a link in this forum when you're done.

Here's some information on the photo if you do use it: This is my Great-Great-Great Grandmother Charlotte (Blacklock) Grierson and her daughters in the 1880's. Front L to R Isabella (Birdie), Charlotte, Back Margaret Jane (Maggie), Elizabeth (Liz)

Louisa May Alcott (http://www.scrapartist.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=7761&cat=585)
Helen Keller (http://www.scrapartist.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=7763&nocache=1) I know - a girl but also an amazing woman. She has so many awesome quotes. She must have been so brave to make it through her unique trials.

Am I fired because I did ladies I'm not related to? Hope not.

Karon - it looks great and is exactly what I was looking for. It's just important to give the women as much 'screen time' as the men in our layouts! Thanks for your participation!

This challenge was a good incentive to finish this LO of my Aunt Neva. Aunt Neva passed away about 10 years ago but her daughter gave me these photos and she will really enjoy this.
