In what direction do you see the girl spinning? Clockwise? Counter-clockwise? I found this image from this site and apparently, the direction you see the girl spinning indicates which side of the brain you’re using.
If you’re seeing the woman spin clockwise, you’re using the right side of your brain.{This is supposed to be the creative side} If you’re seeing the woman spin counter-clockwise, you’re using the left side of your brain. {This is said to be the side that covers logic, math, etc.}
At first, I could not believe that you could see the woman spinning both ways but believe me, she spins BOTH ways. It takes a while to get my mind to see her spinning the other way but I’ve done it.I almost always see her spinning clockwise at first, then I start thinking of numbers, looking at the numbers or adding them mentally and guess what, she starts spinning the other way.
How about you? What direction do you see her spinning?

That’s really wild! I saw her spinning clockwise, and not until I started really thinking about it, could I see it the other way around. How funny!

I saw her spinning clockwise… then went down to read the text, looked up and she was spinning the other way. Does this mean I use my left brain to read? xoxoN

I see her spinning clockwise! However, I can shift my brain to also see her counterclockwise…interestingly enough I have been working very hard in the last few months to be able to strengthen my right brain abilities/dominance (thank you Betty Edwards!) Pretty cool!

That is wild! Definitely clockwise. But I closed my eyes briefly, looked up, and there she was, counter clock wise. The thing is, I can’t seem to see it again.

I stared at this for a while and I could only see counter clockwise. Then I focussed on the reflection and I saw the clockwise rotation. Very cool!

I saw clockwise too…can’t even get it to go counter clockwise at all!

Yikes; I see it spinning both ways! And I can change the direction it spins, too. This is a very cool thingie you found! TFS!!

That’s fab! Clockwise first but if I look at her feet and shadow she then turns anti-clockwise. X

I see her spinning clockwise, tried to think of numbers to see if she would spin the other way, nope, not for me. I showed my dh and all he said was, “She’s naked.” WHICH brain does HE think with? ROFLMBO!!

That is absolutely one of the coolest things! I saw her spinning clockwise at first and when I started reading down and glanced up quickly, she was spinning counterclockwise! that is insane! I thought maybe it was a trick; that she automatically changes direction after a certain amount of time so I studied it for quite a while and began to be able to actually change the direction consciously! Very cool! Thank you for sharing!

@Kim, LOL! Oh men!!

Nan, I did the exact same thing… I saw her spinning clockwise at first and then once I started reading she flipped to spinning the other way! I’m convinced this is some kind of magic Jedi trick!
LOL Kim… sounds exactly like my hubby!

Nan & Karen,
I think it’s because as you are reading, you are trying to understand what is written – so some kind of logic/reasoning is involved and thereby using the left side of the brain so you saw the girl spinning the other way.
It is some kinda jedi mind trick,isn’t it?! LOL!

She spins clockwise then counter clockwise then back again. I’m getting dizzy watching all the different directions.
