I use photoshop cs3. I first got involved w/digital scrapbooking when I joined Scrapbook Dimensions social network, and tried some of their projects. One thing led to another, and I was hooked. I still have a paper fetish, though…

  2. KayJay Says:

I use Scrapbook Max and am just trying to get used to using photoshop to scrap with. I started scrapping in November 2007 when I was surfing the net trying to find an easy way to do a collage on the computer, all the links kept coming back saying “digital scrapbooking” well, I ditched the idea of a collage as soon as I followed some of those links, and have been hooked on digi ever since!
Thanks for the chance to win a gift voucher to your amazing store
    Hugs

  3. Scrappy Diva Says:

Still love my paper scrapping-I LIKE the mess, I guesss! But the digital is fun and faster so will be sticking with that, too. I’ve been digiscrapping about 4 years and just wish I printed out more pages than I do. They seem to sit on my harddrive too long. I’m prone to setting up slide shows with my LO’s to use as screensavers.

Love Linda’s stuff, so thanks for the chance to win a new CD/DVD.

Sorry just realized I needed to add this info as requested…

I just switched to PSE7 from PSE3. Bought it when it was a goos deal at Costco’s but now I’m a bit sorry as v.8 is out and being touted as much better. Can’t say I’m wild about 7. Earlier version #3 is still working fine and although limited seems to be more user friendly

  5. CarolW Says:

I had been using PSE6 since it came out but have been trying to learn PSE7’s new tricks. Now 8 is out and I know I’ll have to get that also. I started digital scrapping because I loved the looks of it and I did not like the mess of paper scrapbooking. I love having everything I need right at my fingertips.

  6. Andrea Says:

I use PSE 8 right now, but have been around and back. Started with Scrapbook Max, and I would definitely reccommend that product for people who are just getting started, or who don’t want to do a lot of fiddling around, it’s a fabulous product. I bought it because my husband was deployed in Iraq, and we had a new little baby and I wanted to chronicle everything he was missing. I already took lots and lots of pictures, and had been using PSP to snazz them up… but I had no idea that I could digiscrap with that program, if you believe that. LOL.

ANYHOO- after I became completely obsessed, my son bought me a student version of PSCS2, which I was totally scared of for awhile, and then began using like crazy. Then that computer died, and I was unable to replace the program and switched to PSE, which I do like, but would love to lear how to use better. I feel like I’m finding something new in it every day!

  7. Minjo McKinny Says:

The birth od my grand daughter , and my first digital camera left me with lots of photos. This was followed by my first computer so I coukd download my camera. This was followed by on linr lessons on using the computer. HP had lots of free lessons and they had a digital scrapbooking lesson by Tracy Watson, and I was hooked. I started with HP Creative Scrapbooking program, which I sometimes still use, and then found Photoshop Elements 3. Now I use PSE 6, and hope to get the newer version for christmas. And my granddaughter is still my favorate subject for my scrapbooking pages.

  8. kari Says:

I have been doing Dig Scrapbooking for abt a year. Now I’m @ an “Impasse”which is the reason I need “Tutoring” from your Artistic Team. I am using Photoshop Elements 6. My biggest mistake has been trying to understand Photoshop’s own tutorial which is so convoluted, deliberatively counterintuitive & actually written to make Consumers feel stupid!(Do you sense that “string of hostility” just under the surface?) I’ve heard that Art can be painful but if it wasn’t for my stubborn & curious nature, my hope could not be “rekindled”. HELP!

  9. Shawna Says:

I started with PSE 2, I think, several years ago and was using it to extract tack out of pictures for a saddle and tack company that I worked for. I thought there could be more to the whole thing, but had NO IDEA about digital scrapbooking and never even put the 2 together. Fast forward to 2008, my mother is a Creative Memories lady and we were gifted a trip to Disney World, so as a christmas gift to the person that gifted us the trip, we decided to make her a scrapbook of our trip. (She is a dear friend (considered family), and was supposed to go, but do to whatever circumstances, she couldn’t go. Sent all her family, but she couldn’t go. It was kinda sad. We made so many pages we had to use 2 books. And my friend cried when she got the books. It was awesome!!) Anyhow, we made it with Storybook (I think) and boy was I hooked. I thought that digi-scrapping was the cats meow. So now I am working on PSE 7 and scrap all the time. I don’t even hardly touch my paper stuff anymore, except to make an occasional card.

Thanks for the chance to win the tutorial CD, I KNOW that I don’t know everything there is to know about PSE7.

  10. Dawn Says:

I use PSE 8. I got started witih digital scrapbooking when I found myself with tons of photos on my computer, but no real way to showcase them. Once I discovered all the possibilities using PS I haven’t looked back. The great thing about PS is that there is always something new to learn. I find myself learning new techniques all the time, sometimes just by playing around with different effects. It really is a playground for scrapbookers!!! :)

  11. Sabra Says:

I got into digital scrapbooking last December. I was looking for a way to express myself artistically, but I don’t have the space or budget for an art studio. The learning curve has been steep, but for now I feel pretty comfortable with PSE 7. I had to laugh, because right around the time I finally understood how to use it, they came out with PSE 8. So it’s my plan to pick up a copy of PSE 8 for Christmas, and if I win (fingers crossed) I hope the DVD will make the learning less painful. Thanks for the opportunity. :-)

  12. Gerri Phillips Says:

I dont use Photoshop :( I learned to digital scrap using PSP 8 and I dont have Photoshop. I found digital scrapping when I was online looking for paper scrap things to print off and that was the end of my paper scrapping!! lolol

  13. Dawn Says:

I started scrapping the first of the year. I saw a friend doing layouts. Use PSP 11 and love it. Thinking about branching out to learn PSE8 or CS4. But that is a daunting task. Will have to take baby steps for that. :)

Thank you so much for this chance to win.

  14. Renee Says:

I use CS4 and generally get access to all the goodies being married to an Art Director. I still use my good-ol’ reliable Corel Draw. My MIL got me into paper scrapbooking and fueled my habit for years. I’m now teaching her Photoshop and she’s hooked on creating ATCs. Favor returned !!!

  15. Heidi D. Says:

I’ve got CS4. I’ve been working with computer graphics for years – I designed my own stuff for websites more than 15 years ago with old versions of PSP. I did paper scrapbooking then, but when digital photography became so good, I switched to digital scrapbooking so that I could have more control over my final photo outcomes without spending a fortune on photo processing.

  16. Honey.B Says:

I use PSE7 and had been a life long paper scrapper until I stumbled into a digi site last year while looking for clipart :) Now there’s no way I could live without digi scrapping and all my digi supplies :) I’ve sold all of my paper supplies and tools (over NZ$3000.00 worth) and am a fully fledged digi girl :)
Thanks for the chance to win.

  17. wendy cole Says:

I began digital scrapbooking to make my Grandmother a scrapbook that she could share we everyone else without using her pictures. I love it now~

  18. Cindy G. Says:

I use PSE6. I had just finished doing my wedding photo album, using Shutterfly’s pre-made templates, and I was doing some “surfing” of the other users’ books. One gal had this fabulous book, and in the comments about it, she had mentioned that she had done it all “digi” and gave the link to DST. The rest is history for me – my first month was a blur of tracking down freebies, tutorials and kits! Now my hard drive is full and I’m working on three different family/friends cookbooks, as well as scrapping our travels.
Thanks for the chance to win!

  19. grannymike Says:

I now use PSE 7. I had PSE 3 years back, but it was Greek to me. I then got PSP (more user friendly for a beginner) and took a free online course. In the third section of the course, it had me make some basic scrapbooking elements. It was a lot of work, and they were very basic. But it let me know there was such a thing. I got to work with google and found a whole world out there I didn’t know existed. With PSE 7, I have found lots of good written and video tutorials that are helping me learn. Thanks for the chance to win something to help me even more.

  20. Candi Says:

I bought Photoshop Elements 7 several months ago. I really thought it was going to be easy to “feel” my way around. Boy did I have a rude of awakening. Finally two weeks ago, I decided to just dive right in. I have watch tutorial after tutorial but having a CD would be so very helpful. I would love to have a chance to watch it and do it at the same time. Also, ANY TIPS from anyone would be so helpful!!!

  21. Amanda Says:

I made a birthday invite and realized how easy digi could be. I made the switch from paper to digi and sold my entire paper collection for $600 (I was only hardcore with paper for a yr).

  22. barbaraj Says:

I use PSE5 but have been thinking of upgrading. 3 years ago I took a class at Oscraps and it got me going to a beautiful world of creativity and obsession!

  23. Carol Wehner Says:

    Candi,

I bought PSE 7 too. I was so angry they don’t include a book of some kind, plus, if you use the help menu, you are sent to a forum and forced to read through posts until you find the answer IF you’re lucky.

I also have problems in that the scroll bar is missing from the fonts and brushes drop down menu. I’ve figured out to use my arrow keys. Time waster.

I’ve learned so much from watching tutorials and taking classes online. I highly recommend that. Good luck!

  24. ScrapNSister1 Says:

I use PSE7 mainly. I got into digi scrappin quite by accident as I used to add elements to my photos prior to printing, now I digi and traditional scrap. :)

  25. rennemarie Says:

Im a PSE 6 user- the learning curve was steep- I had it for about a year and didnt use it- I took baby steps- first photo explosion- then picassa- but then early ths year I got a digi scrap magazine- LOVED the layouts and made myself learn a new trick each day- you have to use it to learn it- Linda ROCKS with her tutorials- I catch them online and on a BYU scrapbooking show-. I’ll be stepping up my version this Christmas- just trying to figure out which one to go for!

  26. Ali Says:

I’m a PSE6 PC user and just purchased PSE8 for Mac – for my new iMac! Very excited about the new toy.

  27. Carmen Says:

With the purchase of a camera at the beginning of this year, it came with Paint Shop Pro x1. I have never done ‘digital’ anything! no layouts ….still learning…still afraid, nervous, and completely in limbo (space). Most of the tutorials online are for Adobe Photoshop, Elements etc…, so I feel sort of alone…but I do like the editing part of PSPx1 and there’s so much more to learn with this imaging program! Am an artist by trade, and would love one day to get a pen with which to paint/draw!
Have discovered digital scrapbooking in April, but have done paper scrapbk for over 20 years, even before it became popular…I sewed covers for albums, made my own papers, etc. Made several wedding albums for my family. Now, I’m ready to move on…to DIGITAL! Yeah! (where was I all these years??)

  28. Mary Rogers Says:

I currently use PSE 7.0 with Lightroom by Adobe. I started to digi scrap about 18 months ago. I had been a paper scrapper for 10 years, and then started looking into hybrid for a specific project. Once I started using the computer and Photoshop Elements, there was no turning back. I am self-taught and continue to learn things about PSE almost every single day.

I have thought about upgrading to CS3, but I just don’t have the time to start something new – I like familiar….

I don’t see myself ever going back to paper and continue to give away items from my overstocked scraproom, converted digi scrap space. I thought I would miss the paper, but no way : )

  29. Hilarie Says:

I use PSE 5.0, BUT version 8.0 should be arriving tomorrow! :)

I edit family photos and make “creations” with Christmas photos to include in our cards. I decided digital scrapbooking made tons of sense, since I never get our photos printed, and I have YEARS worth of the kids’ photos to scrap. I’m just getting started (learning, practicing) right now. My first plan is to work on my daughter’s first year book. I have a 6×6, so I’ll print those pages out to see how I like digital scrapbooking.

  30. Kristi Duncan Says:

I use Photoshop CS3. I got into digital scrapbooking a few years ago while trying to find a new hobby. I got involved in a class on designing and have been hooked ever since!

  31. Luiza cabelireira Says:
