Hello Everyone! Rachel here and this is my FIRST ever blog post, so please forgive any rookie mistakes I might make.
Today I am bringing you the designer in the spotlight………………
The one and only, Dianne Rigdon!
I had the pleasure of interviewing Dianne and getting to know her a little better.
Designer Name: Dianne Rigdon Design
Real Name: : )
Could you tell us a little about your life?
I am a stay at home homeschooling mom bitten by the digital bug! I love digi! I also had done some work in the traditional scrapbooking industry. I sing in a church choir and a local masterworks group and I like crafting in general. I have three kids and have been married for over 17 years and we have two sassy doggies, too.
When Did You Start Digital Designing?
I started digital scrapbook design back in 2004. Prior to that I was doing some custom web design. I love the immediacy of the craft – make it and share it all in one day. And no messy html to deal with!
Where do you get your inspiration?
Everything inspires. Sometimes I wish I could turn my designer eyes off! I am of course influenced by my kids – they are always happy to tell me what is creepy and what is cool. I love to see how colors play together and create a mood in the process. I look at art and home decoration magazines and nature if I am in need of inspiration, but usually it comes looking for me!
What is your favorite kit you have designed?
My favorite kit is always my most recent creation, although one kit that stands out is Hearts and Crafts, coming to Scrap Artist this month! I also am particularly proud of Tuesday Afternoon and Christmas in Your Heart. They just came on strong and wouldn’t leave me alone until I made them!
Picking favorites was hard!

Wow! I am not sure how you do it all Dianne! You are amazing to be able to juggle so much and still have time to scrap yourself and design all your awesome goodies!
I would have to say that Tuesday Afternoon is a favorite for me. The colors are beautiful together and there is a TON of cool elements in it also.
